First Krewe du Vroom Meet: April 29th 8am - till
Motorsports fans, car, bike, kart and R/C enthusiasts converge on NOLA Motorsports Park on the morning of April 29th for a show like no other.
In addition to the show, take a parade lap around the race track, ride the 50mph karts, watch the R/C demos and more. With a wide variety of entertainment, fresh each month, there is something for everyone! Don't miss Krewe du Vroom, presented by NOLA Motorsports Park!
Let's get this thing started -- spread the word with our printable fliers and forum friendly fliers. Print the flier and bring it with you for $5 off karting. It is earlier that day -- we're kicking off bright and early at 8am.

Burnout contest? What's the prize? I need new tires anyway to go with my new wheels and I can powerbrake my auto for days.
Definitely looking forward to at least a parade lap around the track too.
Is there a schedule of events?

Thanks for putting this together. Sounds like it will be allot of fun.

Is there some kind of schedule of events or more details available on what's going on?
How do the parade laps work? Just show up over by the track and say I want to take a drive or what? I'm really looking forward to that.
Thanks

Brad -- everyone will begin arriving at 8a. Starting at 10a we will be holding parade laps at the top of every hour.
We will give you a flyer to be handed out at the entry gate detailing the day. Look forward to having you out!

Thanks Wes. I'm sure I'll see you around that day.
Had a blast out there today, trying to get the word out on the G8 Board about how the track is my new favorite place on Earth. People who don't come are missing out.

Word on the street is a good turn out of great car's and bike's is expected for our first Car-Di Gras.

Looking forward to it and trying to get the word out as much as I can. Things are looking better around the track every week as construction progresses and I think any newcomers will be impressed.
Some guys from the Camaro forum are coming and I'm working on the G8 guys.
