NOLA Oval -- Race #2 -- February 11, 2012

The NOLA Oval will be having it's 2nd event on February 11, 2012.

Race Day Schedule
8:00a - Gates/Registration Opens
9:00a - Controlled Practice
11:00a - Registration/Practice Closes
11:30a - Driver Meeting (Mandatory)
12:00p - Racing Begins

Race Entry Fee (including Drivers Pit Pass): $35 for first class, $20 each additional class.
Crew Fees: $5 for Pit Passes; only needed for HOT GRID Access
Spectator Fees: FREE

At this point, there are NO PAYOUTS but awards will be given for top finishers.

Tire Rule: Open for next 2 events. Beginning at the April 2012 race, Burris B55A will be required for awards and championship points.

Drivers will draw for starting positions in Heat 1, invert for Heat 2 and line up according to heat points for the Feature. Feature finish determins overall position for event.

The classes listed below are a bit different than what's listed on their website but will be the ones they'll start with this year. Because of the uncertianty of the classes that will show up, NOLA decided to model their program after the event run annually in Batesville, MS. If, over time, particular groups have large entries, they will be set up in their own class (i.e. Flathead, Animal, Clone, etc, etc). As stated before, the drivers will ultimately determine which classes are supported at NOLA.

One more day! Online registration (http://www.motorsportreg.com/index.cfm/event/event.advert/uidEvent/0BA22DFF-A2F8-2D11-B3CD4C31ED76C4DB) will be open until midnight tonight. Now, this kinda new for us but it is really a cool option and can save you some hassle in the morning. If you're planning on coming out tomorrow, you should give it a try.

Windy but nice day for racing! We had a blast and thanks to Wesley LeBlanc and Steve Shook. You guys are the best and great racing and laugh's. Garrett, nice job along with your crew!
