Absolutely insane
that is unbelievable. that goes to show you the difference bettween our country and the rest of the world . we are the litigation nation. the lawyers and the epa and environmentalist and every other odd ball group would be out to shut down anything like that occurring in this nation. we are suppossed to be the land of the free . the problem in this country is 95percent of the good people in this country are letting the 5percent of the kooks tell us how to live . we ought to be ashamed of ourselves for letting this happen. that is like the rally racing i see on tv. people are standing on the side of the road inches from the action. if we had that type of situation here there would be more lawyers in the crowd waiting to cash in on any accident that occurred than people watching the racing. we need to stand up and take our country back. sorry i got a little carried away but i feel it needed to be said. i would love to go to the isle of mann one day and watch this in person . there must be an unbelievable atmosphere surrounding the whole event . prayers sent to the folks that participated and crashed. im not ashamed to say im not brave enough to ride like that in those kind of surroundings

As if superkarts on the Isle of Man aren't insane enough!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RlpSRarvp5I
But BIKES? This is just manic. Taking pole position on a bike at the Isle of Man proves not that you are the best, but that you value your life the least... or at least that you have the biggest balls. I am not claiming that I am against this! ;)
And well said, Carl! This is truly not the "Land of the Free" nor the "Home of the Brave."
i agree, when i added a new turn to the track at moore park raceway ; a turn that is approximately 50 to 55mph turn we were wringing our hands worrying it wasnt safe and would not fall into the insurance safety net. the turn has a minimum of 40ft to 60ft of run off with a gravel trap bettween the fence and the track. after watching the video you just showed. im sure the europeans would get a good laugh at our expense and rightfully so . we really need to get a grip in this country and wake up to the fact that we are litigating and regulating ourselves out of our livelihoods. soon we 'll be the safest nation on earth but also the poorest
