Kart classes / track info

What kart classes will be in the initial series of races and when will the first race be run? Also I would like to come down and tour the facility if it is possible. I have been waiting anxiously for the opening and any updated info on the progress of the facility.
I am new to karting and will purchase a new kart when the classes are finalized and the schedule set.

Classes and rules are pretty much nailed down, being new to Karting and I assume racing I would suggest our one of our 4 cycle or Sportsman classes. They are very cost effective and allow you for focus on developing racecraft and chassis tuning. Garett is currently out of town and I will be fulltime in the office October 7th. We will have the rules, classes, and draft schedule posted by the 15th.

Thanks Mitch for you response. I am most interested in the Rotax Challenge kart classes. Will there be Rotax classes at your track?
I too am looking forward to meeting you and touring the new facility. It is very exciting to have such a world class facility in Louisiana.
