calling garett engine problem

have a 04rotax tag engine that started making a ringing noise in the cylinder last night. what i would like to do if possible is set up a appointment hopefully today with you and bring the kart from lafayette for you to check it out and fix it while i wait , hope thats not asking too much. i am hoping it is just a ring or possibly piston and ring which shouldnt take too long to fix i imagine , and im wondering if yall have the parts in stock. give me a call 225-2295434. waiting to hear from you so i caqn get on the road

false alarm ricky and i started the motor and listened to it and it seems like i miss diagnosed a problem ; if you hold the throttle partially open and the clutch barely engages it causes a ringing or rattling sound i thought was coming from the cylinder. so fingers crossed i just made a wrong diagnoses and there isnt a problem. sorry for the false alarm

Carl - sounds like you guys are hearing the ringing of the clutch drum? Sounds like you're at the point where the shoes of the clutch are just beginning to contact the drum. Our Leopard motor does it too.
