Please update the forum if you have info on the progress.. Is August still the time frame for a debut?

Yes, the kart facility is right on schedule. We will be running this fall - August/September is the timeframe.

Now that the entryway to the facility has been cleared, culvert installed and the in roads beginning, anyone in the area is welcome to drop by and see the progress. It is a sight to see looking into the facility, quite a large area. I have an interactive map on the "About Us" page and track's physical address on the "Contact Us" page for those that want to put it in GPS.

Big news will be coming out shortly - the karting classes are finalized as well as pricing on rentals, track time for those that own karts and much more. I will also have some renderings of the buildings on property soon. The architect is doing a great job making this facility stand apart.

Kart classes have been finalized and will be posted very soon. We have been working with builders and designers finishing all the details. The dirt work is coming along nicely. We will have many announcements with new photos, renderings and staff news in the next 30-45 days.

It's been awhile since we had any updates... Hows the construction going and kart classes?

Construction has picked up speed with the recent dry weather, our soft opening for the kart track is planned for November with our racing programs for both the Sprint track (roadracing) and oval to start this spring. Garett has been researching the market to verify what we have planned for classes with work still being done on the Jr and Sr Sportsman classes and fine tuning race program rules.
We have a ton of things going with the getting the Kart Shop up and running along with the track so we have Garett going flat out. We have purchased a fleet of Birel N35 Rock Karts that will be used to get things started on the corperate and arrive and race programs.

Getting real itchy to get out there and burn some race gas and tires at NOLA motorsports Kart track.

Will there be open lapping days? I have a 125 shifter and my 10 yr old son has a Briggs World Formula powered kart.

Joe, we are itchy too. the kart track dirt work is progressing quite well with the great weather. We have pushed back the kart track opening to after the 1st of the year. We are building a first class facility and want to make sure we have a quality surface for you to play on.
We are hosting a sneak peek on Sunday starting at 3:30pm (after the Saints game) we have both the kart track and big track cleared and staked out and will be riding people around the tracks to give you an idea of what we will have to play on. If you have time come on out and see what we have going on.

My Karts and tools/gear have arrived from Utah so now I am feeling a need to burn some laps. Have to keep telling myself, soon weed hopper soon.
