Construction Contractor Opportunities at NMSP
NOLA Motorsports Park is releasing details on our ongoing construction program. Interested persons can review these projects to learn more details about the buildings on the facility and encourage any construction companies who want to participate to do so. We hear that construction activity is relatively slow now and we want companies and their employees to know that there are significant contractor opportunities presently in the works and in the plans. So far, three different contractors have won contracts.

Speedshop Buildout
Base Building
The base building is a 14,000 Square foot pile supported pre-engineered metal structure with decorative panels on three sides. Building is 70 feet wide by 200 feet long with a 20 foot eave height. The building will have basic electrical service and ventilation.
Build Out
There will be a 5,130 square foot office area on two floors. Construction is concrete on metal deck supported by light gauge load bearing metal studs, interior finishes are painted exposed metal structure ceilings on the ground floor, suspended acoustical ceilings on the second floor, painted dry wall partitions, and stained concrete floors. Spaces consist of offices, meeting rooms, reception area, 4 toilet rooms, mezzanine, and kitchenette. There will be two steel stairs. Mechanical will be water source heat pumps. Kart Shop Building
The Kart Shop Building is a 8,248 square foot two story building with 4,502 square feet of canopy. The structure is pile supported slab, structural steel frame with a precast plank floor system, and a metal roof on “Z” purlins. The exterior skin is preformed metal panels and impact resistant glass store front. The interior walls are cementisious panels painted with epoxy paint, the floors are stained and scored concrete and the ceilings are exposed and painted structure on the ground floor and suspended acoustical ceilings on the second floor. Mechanical system is a “DX” split system with exposed “duct socks” distribution. The electrical system is a standard 120/208V electrical service with lighting and outlets. There will be an elevator and two steel stairs.

Garage 1 (First of Three)
The Garage Buildings will be 3 separate pre-engineered buildings with pile supported concrete slab foundations and standard metal skin with decorative metal panels. There will be 20 – 20 foot by 25 foot bays in a 50’ x 200’ building. Each bay will be serviced by an 9’ x10’ overhead door and a pedestrian door in each bay. Bays will be lined with metal panels in a configuration based upon tenant’s requirements. The building will be insulated, and each bay will have HVAC connections to a water source for a heat pump system. The bays will have a 60 amp 120/208V. service and will be separately metered.

The Entry/Security Structure is two 534 square foot light gauge metal buildings with metal cladding and roof, and dry wall interiors, with radial rubber flooring. The two buildings are separated by three entry drive lanes under a 5,000 square foot curved roof metal canopy.

The Track Operations and Race Control Building is a 1,440 square foot 2 story structure with a meeting area, storage and a toilet room on the ground floor. The second floor will have a tiered viewing section with a toilet room and kitchenette. Structure is light gauge metal framing on a structural slab. Exterior will be preformed metal panels and glass; roof will be standing seam metal panels. Interiors will be stained and scored concrete floors, cementisious wall panels with epoxy paint. The ceilings are painted exposed structure on ground floor and suspended acoustical ceilings at second floor. HVAC will be “DX” split systems, with a standard 120/208V. electrical service. There will be extensive electronic data components.

Kart Race Control/Scale Building
The Kart Control Building is 800 square foot 2 story building with toilet rooms and a storage area on the ground floor and an open space viewing area on the second floor. The construction is light gauge metal structure with a preformed metal skin and roof. The interior is cementisious panels with epoxy paint. Floors are stained concrete with painted exposed structure ceilings. Access to second floor is by metal staircase.

Emergency Response Building
The Emergency Response Building is a 3,000 square foot single story pile supported pre-engineered building with standard metal panel exterior with decorative metal panels. Interiors will be stained concrete floors, cementisious panel with epoxy paint walls, and suspended acoustical ceilings. HVAC will be a water source heat pump system, and mechanical ventilation. There will be a standard 120/208V. electrical system.

Villa 1 & Villa 2
There will be approximately 60 villas designed to have automobile storage and service on the ground floor and luxury living space on the second floor. The buildings will be structural steel and concrete on the ground floor and either light gauge metal or wood framing on the second floor. The average floor area of the villas is 4,200 square feet on two floors, however, minimum building area is 3,600 square feet. Exteriors can be Hardi-plank, block, brick, architectural metal; roofs can be metal, tile, or architectural asphalt shingles. All Villas are subject to an architectural review committee.

Member's Paddock Canopy
The Members Paddock Canopy is a 50 foot wide by 300 foot long pre-engineered structure in two 25 foot wide sections. Bays will be 25 feet wide open on all sides. Canopies will be lighted and will have fans. Foundations will be concrete spread footing

Paddock Restroom & Shower Units
There will be several single story 350 square foot buildings housing toilet and shower facilities. Buildings will be light gauge metal structure with preformed metal siding and roof. Interiors will be polished concrete floors; wall will be cementisious panels with epoxy paint. Buildings will be power ventilated and electrical will a standard 120/208V. system.

Fuel Canopy & Carwash
The Fueling Station and the Carwash will be approximately 1,000 square feet each and will be constructed with unit masonry and pre-engineered roof canopies. Plumbing drains, and standard electrical systems are required.
